The Overthrow Transbrake Button is the most consistent long throw transbrake button on the market with the ability to slow reaction times up to 0.060 seconds!

This designs uses a constant force spring, steel chrome shaft and linear roller bearing which makes it like no other transbrake button on the market. Our competitors rely on a plastic on plastic friction fit to reduce the speed and force from their tension springs. Naturally these designs will get dirty or the shafts will get bent which can cause inconsistency from run to run or in a worse case scenario the switch gets stuck completely. With the custom concave button head we offer the longest stroke on the market while still maintaining within the NHRA tranksbrake rule (3” maximum length from base of switch to top of plunger.). This allows the most adjustability while keeping a simple design.

There are a few ways to slow down your reaction times including reducing launch rpm, increasing front tire size, and adjusting your suspension but there is only so much you can do with tire size and it is difficult to know how much rpm or suspension adjustments will affect your reaction time, ET and consistency.
